"I've been rockin' with Oakley for over 7 years now, and it's always great to party with that family!” Lil Jon said. “Let's gooooo Tampa!"
“I’m honored to be throwing down for Tampa Bay’s scene and representing Oakley with the one and only King of Crunk,” added D.Seven. “Everyone already knows him by his signature glasses, so it’s a unique opportunity for he and I to celebrate our shared love for the O by blowing the roof off at Hard Rock Cafe Tampa! I definitely can’t wait to bring Southern California ‘swag’ and the party to Florida.”
Lil Jon: King Of Crunk
For the last decade, the words “Yeah,” “Ok” and “What” have been synonymous with Lil Jon. As one of the most prominent figures in music and pop culture alike, his reach across multiple genres of music have captivated audiences worldwide. Recently performing for hundreds of thousands of fans with Afrojack, Steve Aoki and Sydney Samson at Ultra Music Festival, his mainstay position in music has been in full display.
Lil Jon has a prominent residency at the Wynn/Encore in Las Vegas–as well as his “Let’s Lose It” tour raging all across the country and over-seas. His Crunk Rock album spawned huge singles including “Shots,” “Outta Your Mind” with LMFAO and “Hey” feat. 3OH!3, amongst other sounds created with hit makers Drumma Boy, DJ Chuckie, Kassiano and more.
After delivering a string of regional hits with the East Side Boyz in the 1990s, Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz became a national force in 2001 thanks to the hits “Bia Bia” and “Put Yo Hood Up.” Lil Jon’s club-ready production launched the Crunk movement, which introduced Jon’s patented high-energy music and guttural growls to a worldwide audience. Crunk became so popular that Jon became a fixture on Chappelle’s Show and the word became a national phenomenon.
DJ D.Seven: California Style
Oakley’s Los-Angeles based D.Seven is on the rise. With a stronghold on the coastal scene as the Head resident DJ at the famous chain of Baja Sharkeez venues up and down the Southern California Coast, his roots as an authentic DJ – rocking on Vinyl since age 15 – shine through at every show as his sheer passion for music sends shockwaves throughout the audience. Currently getting the top venues and clubs raging: from LA, Hollywood, Orange County, San Diego, The Bay Area to Las Vegas and beyond, D.Seven’s future collaborations with some of the most prominent names in Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and other associated music genres are on the horizon, set to elevate him to new Global heights.
Born in Guatemala and raised in the historically EDM-rich San Francisco Bay Area, D. Seven’s humble roots and diverse upbringing have shaped the exploding young artist’s immensely versatile style. From the intensely intoxicating rhythms of the Spanish Island of Ibiza, the diverse hip hop sounds of the Bay, Rock & Roll, varieties of steamy music from his Latin heritage to pop music, a plethora of influences have shaped D. Seven — and can be felt as he takes to the booth.
With his love undeniably rooted in Electronic Dance Music, his magnetic demeanor and monster skills on the decks transcend boundaries.
Coupled with fellow Oakley music artist Lil Jon, fans can expect Hard Rock Tampa to get thoroughly raging, Oakley style.
